Meet Our Teaching Staff 

Jacqui joined Croydon North Kindergarten at the start of 2022 and has been teaching both 3YO and 4YO kinder programs for more than 18 years. In 2024 Jacqui took over as Director of Croydon North kinder. She has a Bachelor of Early Childhood Education from Monash University, and participated in the Early Childhood Validation process, being assessed and classified as an Exemplary Teacher in 2013.
 
Jacqui is passionate about ensuring each child feels safe, secure, and happy at kinder. The best part of her job is observing a child's natural curiosity and watching their eyes light up as they discover and learn something new!
 
Jacqui and her family live locally and they enjoy going on caravan trips around Victoria whenever they can! She also enjoys sharing the many funny adventures of her puppy, Banjo!

Allison has worked at Croydon North Kinder since 2019. She works with Blue Goup (the 3 year olds) and then continues supporting  children as some of them move into Red Group (the 4 year olds) the following year. This continuity allows her to build strong, trusting relationships with each child and their family and to support their individual learning and development over time.
 
Allison also has experience working with children with disabilities, developmental delays, and complex medical needs. She is  committed to creating an inclusive, respectful, and nurturing space where every child feels valued and supported on their learning journey.
 
Allison has a deep love for working with young children and takes great joy in watching them grow, learn, and explore the world around them. 
 
Being part of each child’s early learning journey is a privilege, and she is dedicated to fostering their confidence, independence, and sense of belonging.

Jade has many years of experience working across both the primary and early childhood sectors, teaching and supporting children of a wide range of ages and developmental stages. Her diverse background has given her a strong understanding of how children grow, learn, and transition through different stages of their education.
Jade is passionate about creating warm, engaging, and inclusive learning environments where every child feels safe, supported, and confident to explore. She believes children thrive in settings that encourages play, exploration, and meaningful interaction, allowing them to develop at their own pace while building curiosity, independence, and a strong sense of self. Jade aims to provide an atmosphere where children and their families feel welcome, supported, and respected, fostering genuine connections and a strong sense of belonging.
Jade lives locally with her husband, their three children, and their much‑loved dog, Teddy. Outside of work, she enjoys travelling with her family in their caravan and discovering new places together. She also loves staying active and checking out different local markets.

How exciting to be a part of the teaching team at Croydon North Kinder! I'm thrilled to be working alongside Casey and Meghan in Green Group and being part of this fabulous Kinder! Your Kinder years are such busy years but are the most special years too. I have a great passion for the time children spend at Kinder and love to build strong relationships to discover children's interests and help them to develop their learning. I'm all for PLAY and love to facilitate fun and interesting play ideas whilst building children's confidence in their own learning. Kinder sessions are busy and often loud with lots of negotiation and collaboration and lots of fun!!! A little bit about me - My family have lived in Croydon for 4 years now after moving from the Dandenong Ranges. I loved being part of a small community Kinder there and feel that same sense of community at Croydon North. With 3 children in their 20's life is never dull! We enjoy spending time with them as well as travelling to anywhere with a great beach. Your Kinder years are such a special time and I'm very grateful to share my love of Kinder with you.

Laura joined the Croydon North Kindergarten team in 2025 and brings over 10 years of experience working in kindergarten settings. She has worked with both three- and four-year-old children across sessional kindergarten and long day care programs.

Laura is deeply passionate about early childhood education and finds great joy in seeing children develop new skills, build strong relationships, and grow in confidence as they engage with their interests. She considers it a privilege to be part of each child’s learning journey and values supporting children as they learn and explore through play in a nurturing kindergarten environment.

Laura lives locally with her two young children and enjoys spending time at nearby playgrounds and parks, going for walks, catching up with family and friends, and relaxing with a good book.

Megan has a Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care and has worked in the early childhood sector for 8 years. Megan joined Croydon North Kindergarten in 2024 and currently works with both Green Group and Red Group. She loves the sense of community that comes with being part of a sessional Kindergarten. You will often hear her singing through her day making up songs for all the routines. Megan has lived in Croydon North her whole life. During her spare time Megan and her partner set off in their camper van with their kelpie Cliff and camp all over Victoria.
